Get To Know Me!

Question:  How many cruises have you taken and list the most significant?  I have taken more than 20 cruises in the past 7 years.   The most significant were those to Alaska and South America.   South America was via the Panama Canal aboard Regent’s Mariner.

Question:  What is your favorite cruise destination and why?  Alaska is beyond description.  The majestic snow capped mountains seem to go on forever.  The wild life, on land and in the sea, entertain daily.  The Alaskan people are among the most hospitable in the world.  The shore excursions offer a vast variety:  from helicopter tours of glaciers, dog sled rides, panning for gold to visits to native villages and back country expeditions.

Question:  What was the most exciting cruise you ever planned for someone and why?  Each cruise is fun and exciting to plan, for you know the pleasure each client will experience as the result of your efforts.  I think those that bring the most excitement, however, are those that include entire families.  The memories to be shared by two and three generations cruising together are “one of a kind” that lasts a lifetime.

Question:  What do you enjoy the most about cruising?  The excitement of cruising is like no other as the diversity cannot be matched by any other type of vacation.  I enjoy the fact that I can have a day filled with fun or education activities or I can read as long as I want.  I can dine in a restaurant or in my room.  I can “see the world” or watch a movie, and I only unpack once.

Question:  What do you believe is the biggest misconception about cruising?  The cost!!  Dollar for dollar, there is no greater vacation value than cruising.  This applies to the 3 days Bahamas cruise as well as the week in the Caribbean, or any other length cruise anywhere in the world.

Question:  What are your person favorite cruise lines/ships?

Mega ships:  Princess  and the Caribbean Princess (Great service)
Medium size ships:  Holland America – Westerdam (Great service, food, uncrowded)
Small ship:  Regent Seven Seas – Seven Seas Mariner (Great staterooms service, food, public rooms)

Question:  What is the best past of being a part of Cruise Everything:  We at C.E. are a team and the depth of experience of this team is unsurpassed.  Everyone is eager to help answer any question, and should a client want to plan a vacation other that a cruise, our experience with all destinations around the world gives the client exactly what he or she wants.

Question:  What has been your proudest moment at Cruise Everything?  Recently I was involved in planning and escorting a large group of “Physically Challenged” Seniors and their care givers.  While this was a lot of work, I was thrilled and humbled to be able to help bring real pleasure to this group.  For most, this was a trip of a life time, and I was proud to play some small roll.

Question:  What is the most important piece of advice you ever received?  That advise was to do your best, do it honestly  and be “yourself”.  Over the years I have also learned to make sure the “customer stays informed, and up-to-date” on all that is taking place with any specific situation.  Timely communication is always appreciated.
