The Cruise Everything Story
Get To Know Me!
Question: How many cruises have you taken and what were the most significant? I have been fortunate to sail on over 100 cruises. Every cruise was special for different reasons. Exotic Destinations such as Europe and Alaska were exciting because of the diversity of each port of call. I have enjoyed meeting people and making new friends while escorting groups. When in the Caribbean, it’s nice to sail on large vessels, such as the Oasis of the Seas, and having the choice of several entertainment and dining options. When wanting a premium luxury cruise experience there is nothing like being pampered aboard the 6-star “all suite” ship, Regent Seven Seas Mariner.
Question: What is your favorite cruise destination and why? I have enjoyed the Caribbean for it’s easy access to and from the United States and for it’s beauty and tropical setting. Europe and Asia have so much history and diversity. Only in Europe can you cruise from one country to another in one day and experience a completely different culture. You will never find a more hospitable place on earth than in Asia. Alaska is truly the “Last Frontier” and offers inspiring beauty that can be found nowhere else.
Question: What do you enjoy the most about cruising? Cruising gives you the ability to unpack your luggage once, and then travel to several destinations without having to repack, and fly or drive to the next place. Also, the value of a cruise and having almost everything included in one price is a significant benefit.
Question: What do you believe is the biggest misconception about cruising? When a non-cruiser says they don’t want to be on a ship because they will feel confined with nothing to do. In reality, most cruise ships are larger than most land based hotels. The Freedom Class Ships are 16 stories high and longer than 3 football fields. On a cruise ship you can find over 100 entertainment and activity options per day. What land based resort or hotel can say that?
Question: What are your personal favorite cruise lines and ships? For the best in cruising I have enjoyed the 6-star luxury of Regent Seven Seas, Crystal Cruises and Silversea Cruises. My favorite large ship is the Celebrity Solstice. My favorite small ships are the Windstar Cruises sailing yachts.

Question: What is the most important piece of advice you ever received? People don’t care how much you know, only how much you care!
